The Center for South Asian Studies offers a special opportunity to chart your own course in India…
Thanks to a generous donation to the Center for South Asian Studies, undergraduate students at U-M have an opportunity to design and carry out their own fellowship programs in India during the summer.
· This fellowship is intended for non-graduating students who have not already spent significant amounts of time in India· The program is designed to be flexible: you contact NGOs of your choice, write a proposal outlining what you want to study and where, design a program to accomplish your research goals, and we will fund the best proposals to cover most of your costs· Attending the Summer in South Asia Colloquium on Oct 19 highly recommended:Oct 19: Summer in South Asia Fellowship ColloquiumUndergraduate Fellows present reports of their research conducted with NGOs in India4 pm/ Room 1636/ SSWBFor application forms, requirements, timeline for 2012 and information about our past fellows go to:
