Representatives from a range of renowned global health sectors will share the paths they took to reach their current positions.  

Speakers include:

Dr. Patricia Abbott, UM School of Nursing
Shannon Prudhomme* FHI-360, a major NGO working globally
Robert Leone, USAID/Global Health Fellows Program
Frances Tain*, John Snow, Inc., a major NGO working globally

Come learn more about international careers and internships from employers and students with experience working abroad. This event will feature company representatives who will share their experience working internationally.

Several current engineering students will speak about their international work experiences in Brazil, France, Germany, Ireland and Spain. Gain insight on how to find these opportunities and what it is really like to work abroad. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and network in a casual environment.  Light refreshments will be served.

Teaching & Volunteering Abroad

Programs for teaching and volunteering abroad offer a vast range of opportunities in fields such as health, social work, natural resources and teaching English. Positions are available for undergraduate and graduate/professional students, as well as for those about to graduate. 

Find out about some well-established programs and follow up with their representatives (and others) at the International Opportunities Fair the following day.
