New Academic Partner in Rio de Janeiro - Ibmec

We are excited to announce that Ibmec has become IES Abroad's first academic partner institution in Rio de Janeiro!
Centrally located in downtown Rio on the famous Avenida Presidente Wilson, Ibmec is one of Latin America's most prestigious business schools. With courses in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, and Law, admission is extremely competitive for Brazilianstudents. Classes are small (usually fewer than 20 students) and the faculty have advanced degrees from top institutions. By partnering with Ibmec, we’re proud to honor the trust you have put in us to find the best academic institutions possible for your students.
Students attending the Spring 2013 semester will be able to take one course at Ibmec, in combination with their IES Abroad courses. The following English-taught courses will be available to our students:

• International Economics & Finance
• Global Issues & Public Policies
• Regional Studies - BRICS
• Topics on International Trade & Logistics
• International Marketing
• International Business

Students with Portuguese or advanced Spanish can select from Portuguese-taught courses.
We are now accepting applications for Spring 2013, and look forward to welcoming your students to Rio.
