Moderator--Bill Nolting, International Center, e-mail questions to icoverseas@umich.edu
This presentation focuses on tips for applying to UM funding sources for internships and research abroad. It will not focus on study abroad funding, which typically involves financial aid. Please note that there are many, many sources of funding at UM--most U-M Schools, Colleges, Programs (Honors, RC) & Departments may offer funding to their own students. UM funding sources are usually for students who will continue studies after their internship or research experience, i.e. not for students who have graduated. See Global Michigan listings and look under Academics (or Resources) for "funding," "fellowships," "grants," as well as searching from UM's home page using these terms.
