Upcoming Peace Corps Info Sessions: 9/19 & 9/20

Interested in joining Peace Corps, or learning more about the organization?

Mark your calendars! October 1st is the next application deadline.

The Peace Corps application process takes 9-12 months. Almost all Peace Corps volunteers began their application process by attending an information session (which are free and open to the public).  Take a look at the following events to learn more about the Peace Corps and the application process.

Monday, Sept. 19th  General Information Session, International Center Room 9, 6:30pm-8pm
Join Peace Corps at our upcoming information session where you will be given specifics about the application process, learn where volunteers go, find out what they do in service and hear from a panel of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers.

Tuesday, Sept. 20th  Application Workshop, International Center Room 9, 6:30pm-8pm
What information do I include in my essays?  Who do I use for references??  What do I put on my resume???
Learn tips to make your application more competitive and gain feedback from U-M’s Peace Corps recruiters.

If you are unable to attend these sessions, feel free to contact our office to set up an appointment or drop by our office hours.  Also, make sure to join our Facebook page for more information and Peace Corps news.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
