Candidate Requirements:
We are looking
for elite candidates to teach SAT, SAT II Subject Tests, Reading &
Writing Enrichment, and tutor in English, Math, and Science. Ideal
candidates should possess passion for teaching and working with young
people. Although previous teaching is not required, potential candidates
should have good classroom presence and feel comfortable communicating
in front of a group of high school-age students.
Specifications:
* Bachelor’s degree from a Top-25 university
* 6-12 month commitment
* Ability to score minimum 700 (750+ preferred) on the subject he/she is teaching
Training:
All
instructors go through an extensive training process in which they
learn curriculum, teaching techniques, and delivery methods. Trainees
will have the opportunity to shadow veteran instructors and
practice-teach. Guidance and feedback will be given to help teachers
feel confident and at ease in their new roles.
