United Nations Young Professionals Program

The U.S. Department of State announces for all qualified U.S. citizens:

The United Nations 2012 Young Professionals Program (YPP) Examination for UN junior professional posts.

YPP is a recruitment initiative that brings new talent to the UN through an annual entrance examination. This year the examination is targeting US citizens in a variety of fields, including:

Architecture

Economic Affairs

Information System and Technology

Political Affairs

Radio Production

Social Affairs

To qualify, applicants must be no more than 32 years old as of 12/31/12 and have at least an undergraduate degree in one of the above fields. The examination tests your substantive knowledge, analytical thinking, drafting abilities, as well as your awareness of international affairs.

The application process open July 13, 2012 and closes September 12, 2012. The exam will be held on December 5, 2012 in New York City and San Francisco. Learn more about the requirements and application process at:
