WorldTeach, www.worldteach.org, is currently still accepting applications for some of our immediate openings as several of our partners have requested additional volunteers.
Volunteer responsibilities range from program to program. American Samoa is looking for a volunteer science teacher. The Chuuk, Micronesia program is looking for a head teacher to manage basic administrative work amongst the WorldTeach volunteers, as well as volunteers to teach science, math, and English. In Pohnpei, Micronesia, a volunteer with a masters degree in mathematics is needed to teach at the College of Micronesia. Lastly, we are seeking two more volunteers to help teach English and computer skills to leprosy-affected families in India. We would greatly appreciate it if you could forward these along to your students and colleagues.
Thank you,
Thanh Nguyen
