Every U-M student who is traveling abroad should be sure to purchase the proven U-M Travel Abroad Health Insurance--it costs only $1.10 per day (+a $5 registration fee), provides $500,000 coverage, pays for medical care directly and provides access to quality medical care by doctors who speak English.
EVEN if you are traveling strictly on vacation, for personal/leisure reasons, you are ELIGIBLE to purchase the UM health insurance!
