Internships with the U.S. Department of State
CANCELLED -- Tuesday, October 1 | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Weill Hall (Ford School), Betty Ford Classroom (1110)

Based on the uncertainty of a potential federal government shutdown, the information session on Internships with the U.S. Dept. of State has been cancelled. We anticipate the session will be rescheduled at a later date.

The U.S. Department of State offers over 1,000 summer internships at its embassies and missions throughout the world, at its headquarters in Washington, D.C., and at facilities in approximately 20 other cities throughout the United States. A panel of University of Michigan students will share their experiences as Department of State interns this past summer, and Diplomat in Residence Michelle Jones will review the application process for this exciting and challenging program. This program is part of the University of Michigan's International Career Pathways series and is open to all U-M students.

Funding for Internships & Research Abroad

This panel will cover funding options for overseas internships and research opportunities, for both undergraduate and graduate/professional students. Representatives of several U-M funding offices will provide information, and you will be able to meet with them individually.
