Spring break abroad? Don't leave without U-M Travel Abroad Health Insurance @$1.10 per day!

Every U-M student who is traveling abroad should be sure to purchase the proven U-M Travel Abroad Health Insurance--it costs only $1.10 per day (+a $5 registration fee), provides $500,000 coverage, pays for medical care directly and provides access to quality medical care by doctors who speak English. 

EVEN if you are traveling strictly on vacation, for personal/leisure reasons, you are ELIGIBLE to purchase the UM health insurance!

You’ll want to register your itinerary in the Travel Registry—that’s where you can purchase the Travel Abroad Health Insurance by clicking on the link which appears on the last page after you've entered your trip information:

Graduating and heading abroad? You’re still eligible for the health insurance, as long as you purchase it before September 1.
