Interested in interning abroad? Don't miss two upcoming events!

If you're an undergraduate and interested in interning abroad over the summer, you won't want to miss the following two events!

International Internships for Undergraduates
Thursday, September 19 | 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM 
Michigan League, Vandenberg Room

This presentation will feature a panel of U-M faculty and staff who administer global internship programs, as well as undergraduate students who have participated in a wide range of internships abroad. Speakers will address both formal internship placement programs, as well as strategies for creating one's own internship.

Friday, September 20 | 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM 
Michigan Union, Wolverine Room

Are you thinking of doing an internship or volunteering abroad next summer?

Would you like to go through this process of finding and preparing for the opportunity with a small group of fellow U-M students?

If so, consider applying for the Michigan International Internship and Service Program (MIISP)

  

This program of the International Center will help you in several ways:
--Consider your goals in going abroad
--Provide assistance in finding a program
--Provide assistance in finding funding
--Give preparatory workshops in Fall and Winter terms
--Share experiences while abroad over the summer
--Advise other students when you return next year
--Create an M-Portfolio highlighting your time abroad
To be eligible, you should be an undergraduate who will be returning to campus after the overseas experience.
