Peace Corps World AIDS Day event

World AIDS Day with the Peace Corps is held on 1 December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate those lost.

Please join us to learn more about how UM students and Peace Corps join in the fight against HIV by volunteering in 76 countries throughout the world. Learn more about the Peace Corps application process and specifics of the health program.  Also, you will have a chance to hear from a panel of returned volunteers who served in China, Cameroon and Togo developing HIV/AIDS education projects from the ground up.

The World Aids Day Session will be held on Dec. 1st in the School of Public Health (Room 1655) from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

Hope to see you there!
